Get to know Gemma
Gemma finds her balance through yoga, meditation, the gym and time with friends. She finds great joy in her morning cup of coffee at her local cafe and also from time sitting doing nothing with her two tabby cats. She loves to learn and is always listening to new audiobooks and podcasts. She has gone to so many workshops to learn new skills she calls herself a ‘workshop-a-holic.’
Gemma's qualifications include a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology (UNSW) and a Bachelor degree in Psychology (Macquarie). In addition, Gemma has gained advanced training in Clinical Hypnosis and specialty training in a range of different therapies including Schema Therapy, Sex Therapy, Couples Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. Her most recent focus has been on Neuropsychotherapy and using what we know about how the brain works to inform her psychological therapy with couples and individuals.
Gemma has a particular interest in sex therapy and has trained in western models as well as tantric approaches. She also has expertise in treating depression and anxiety in single people and is currently researching and writing a book in this area.
Gemma is fully registered as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and College of Clinical Psychologists.

Availability
