Get to know Elisa
Outside of the therapy room, Elisa can be found listening and playing music, attending the cinema and the theatre, cooking up a storm for friends and family and catching up on true crime documentaries and Netflix’s newest releases. She loves exploring new places (especially beaches) and strives to have a good work-life balance as she believes this is important for well-being.
Prior to Equilibrium, Elisa has had experience in a variety of child and family public health services, private psychiatric hospital as well as university clinic settings. Elisa has also worked with parents as well as family systems and facilitated group therapy clients as well as providing individual therapy with children, adolescents and adults. She uses a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy as well as Motivational interviewing.
Elisa hopes to develop her skills and extend her training in areas such as Gottman’s Couples Therapy
Elisa has completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Monash University) and Graduate Diploma in Psychology Advanced (Monash University) and Master of Clinical Psychology (University of Technology, Sydney). She is registered as a psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and is currently completing her clinical psychology registrar program..
Availability
Elisa is available Thursdays and Fridays including Early Mornings and Online Sessions.
