1 in 5 Australians every year will suffer with mental illness – most commonly anxiety and depression.
Organisations benefit from the awareness of mental health concerns so they can limit their contribution to emotional stress and gain the proven benefits of a mentally healthy workforce. Among these proven benefits are: reduced worker’s compensation claims, reduced absenteeism, higher staff retention rates and enhanced productivity - A NSW government report showed that workplace health promotions have an ROI of $2.86 for small to medium businesses (SafeWork, Oct 2017).
Our courses can be tailored to your needs. They can be run online via zoom, at your office, or ours. We can adapt the content for a short lunchtime seminar or a longer, more interactive workshop, and we can accommodate various group sizes.

At some point in our career, we will need to work with a difficult person. They may be a client, a co-worker, a boss or a supplier. They will learn when they should keep trying with their difficult person and at what stage they should escalate the situation so that their self-esteem, productivity and wellbeing remain intact.
When ongoing work stress pushes someone into the debilitating state we call burnout, it is a serious problem. It affects the individual’s performance and well-being at work and at home and the effects ripple out into the performance and wellbeing of the team and the organisation. This workshop will cover how to safeguard your workplace from burnout at both the corporate and the individual levels. Participants will do a self-assessment of any current burnout symptoms; learn how to recognise early warning signs; and develop a plan of how to address any risk factors in their workplace and in their personal lives.
Drawing upon science-based strategies, this workshop will help your team better manage the demands on their time and improve their productivity. Common obstacles to effective time management and simple strategies to enhance motivation will be covered.

This practical workshop will cover the mental and physical health benefits of mindfulness meditation; how mindfulness works on a brain level; how to take mindfulness “off the cushion” and into day-to-day work tasks; and we will facilitate an experience of mindfulness with at least 4 meditation techniques.
The demands on working mothers at work and at home are huge. Many women do the best they can and still end up feeling exhausted, stressed and guilty. Even when women have supportive partners and work in supportive organisations, they can find it difficult to find joy while balancing work and home life. This workshop covers some common problems facing working mothers and helps them with practical strategies for better utilising the resources they have available to them. It will also help them identify and transform personal belief systems and habits to increase their satisfaction and happiness in their roles and life more generally.
Many of us spent a third of our lives, approximately 90,000 hours at work over a lifetime. The meaning and satisfaction we find in our work can therefore make a huge impact on our quality of life. Many people believe that they have to be “saving the world” or “helping people” to find meaning in their work but in fact, meaning can be found in most roles. This workshop will help your team identify their personal values, understand how their job fits with those values, the impacts their job has on the broader community and how they can maximise their sense of meaning and purpose in the work that they do.
