Paris believes that life brings challenges that are never too big or small to explore in therapy. Paris completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at Australian Catholic University and has clinical experience in hospital inpatient and outpatient mental health and cancer services and within universities.

My therapy style cultivates a safe and trusting space to pave the way for reflection, growth, and the mastery of new skills.

Get to know Paris

Paris has been passionate about supporting others and learning about human nature and interpersonal dynamics since school. As a result, Paris went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) (Government and International Relations) at The University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours at Southern Cross University, and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Australian Catholic University.

Paris prioritises wellbeing and a balanced lifestyle of work, exercise, socialising with friends and family, weekend adventures, and spending time at the beach. Paris also loves learning via reading, listening to podcasts and watching documentaries to broaden her understanding of psychology, history, and politics to name a few.

Prior to joining Equilibrium Paris has worked in various settings, including a mental health hospital providing individual and group therapy for complex concerns, within cancer services providing support for grief, loss, and adjustment to illness, and within university clinics providing cognitive and behavioural assessments and therapy. Paris utilises a number of evidence-based therapies with clients, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Schema Therapy. Paris also brings an existential psychology lens to her work with clients where concerns of adjustment, grief and loss, or chronic illness are present. Paris is continuing to expand her knowledge in these areas through ongoing training.

Paris is registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Agency) and is a member of the APS (Australian Psychological Society).
