Rebecca has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at University of Technology Sydney. She adopts a warm and collaborative approach to empower individuals to enact meaningful change in their lives. Rebecca expresses gratitude in being able to work alongside individuals during their journey of self-discovery and self-development.  Rebecca prioritises a personalised approach to therapy and thus draws upon several psychological modalities to best assist individuals in meeting their hoped therapeutic outcomes. Rebecca expresses interest in working with adult clients with various presentations including depression, anxiety, stress, experiences of childhood trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.

Get to know Rebecca

Rebecca first developed an interest in Psychology during a speech made to her High School class on managing stress during the HSC. From then, she completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science with First Class Honours at Australian Catholic University and Master of Clinical Psychology at University of Technology Sydney.

Throughout her studies, Rebecca has gained vast experience in delivering individual therapy and cognitive assessments to individuals across the lifespan. This clinical work has taken place in various settings, including a university clinic, a child and family-based practice and inpatient hospital medical units. Rebecca utilises several evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending quality time with family, friends and her beloved dog, Archie. With an appreciation for challenge, creativity and adventure, Rebecca is an avid pilates enthusiast, loves coastal walks, trying new restaurants or being entertained by a musical theatre production. When wanting to indulge in a guilty pleasure, she does not shy away from a reality show (or two).

Rebecca is registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).

What is a Registrar?

A Registrar is a Psychologist who has completed 6 years of university training and 2 years practical experience. Subsequent to this each Registrar has to have a supervisor for 2 years in order to become a fully registered Clinical Psychologist. Rebecca is taking these 2 years at Equilibrium.

Availability

Rebecca is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays including Before and After work and Online Sessions.
