Get to know Faith
Beyond work, Faith is an arts lover who enjoys visiting art galleries and the theatre, or stretching out with a good book. Exploring Sydney’s lesser-known corners and sampling the city’s diverse cuisines with friends are among her favourite weekend pastimes. Faith has a long-standing interest in Buddhist spiritual practice and is a yoga and meditation practitioner. She also likes making (and eating) fudge, floating in the ocean while watching the clouds, and is a fan of 70s disco.
Faith works with clients with anxiety and mood disorders as well as people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. She has experience with clients living with relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress, and life-threatening illness. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including the outpatient unit of a major Sydney hospital, a specialist cancer hospital, a community mental health centre, and a university psychology clinic.
Her evidence-based modes of treatment include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing.
Faith has a Master of Clinical Psychology (University of Technology Sydney) and a Bachelor of Psychology Honours (Western Sydney University). She is registered as a psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and is a member of Australian Psychological Society.
Availability
Faith is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays including early mornings and Online Sessions.
